My name is Zaynab Boussi, and I’m a licensed clinical social worker who supports individuals, couples, and families as they move from feeling overwhelmed or uncertain toward greater understanding, balance, and ease.

My work is grounded in warmth, cultural humility, and deep respect for each person’s story. Having been raised in a Muslim Arab American home, I understand the complexity that can come with navigating multiple cultural identities, values, and expectations. Balancing heritage, language, and tradition while finding your place in a broader society can feel heavy at times. My bicultural lived experience, ability to provide therapy in both English and Arabic, and many years of working alongside immigrant children, youth, and families allow me to offer thoughtful, culturally responsive care that honors the whole person.

At the heart of my work is a belief that people are more alike than different. When distress arises, what is often needed is space to feel understood, opportunities for clearer communication, and support that is both compassionate and practical. Therapy at Clarity is not about rushing change, but about walking alongside you as you build insight, resilience, and self-trust.

Advocacy and social justice have always been central to who I am. From a young age, I was drawn to standing up for others, and I carry that same commitment into my work today. Being able to align my values with my profession continues to feel deeply meaningful.
